Potential Spaces explores the place between the truly real and the imagined real. Here, a still image of a pseudo-nude subject stands with an AI-generated television in the Florida woods; overlaying this image of something simultaneously real and imagined is absurd security camera footage from an Arizona location. As the ladder in this video, an object with both sacred and practical importance, is directed by a seemingly invisible force, Potential Spaces is both still and unstill, here, and there, seen and unseen.
