Inventory

In collaboration with Michelle Wilson and The Non Museum Project: Radio Liberty, Platja de Pals, Spain, 2026

Forty-five Polaroid images

Inventory is a procession of nearly fifty small-format Polaroids lined up along a graffiti-covered wall. Shot primarily in black and white, periodically interjected with a lone color image, the photographs document the stone pine forest on the other side of Radio Liberty's barbed wire fence, directly behind this building, formerly the broadcast station's diesel plant. The heavy machinery and smell of diesel are long gone; a patch of blue sky is visible through a round opening left when a ventilation fan was torn from the wall. During installation, photographs fell into deep trenches below, beyond retrieval. As local conservation efforts debate whether to preserve and restore the site or remove all trace of its existence, this work catalogues what remains: a space caught between past infrastructure and uncertain future, between what was and what could be..
